Excerpt
from the booklet:
There is nothing in me more vast than my love for music,
and my love for making music. And where this music (conduction)
is concerned, I can only imagine…
But I am no dreamer. I am a realist.
This music is not experimental, avant-garde or abstract. It
is realism at its most basic level. Its constant state…curiosity.
The language is music. The vocabulary is conduction.
It is social logic; dialogic and dialectic. The art of combining
parts of variables (histories) to make a whole.
To construct or to deconstruct.
One analysis of time through music.
As dialectic, we are both participating in the art of logical
discussion…cultural, social, geographic dialogue.
As process:
Conduction is a coherent system (vocabulary) of signs and
gestures that are to be interpreted, translated or explained
by fundamental principles. These principles could be moral,
intuitive, conscious or subconscious, rarely arbitrary -never
random.
As music:
It is the collective interaction of musical histories.
My objective is to evolve a transcultural instinct and dialect
with "the new virtuoso".
One organ of total comprehension. |
