Peter Kowald on double bass, Floros Floridis on clarinet and flute and Ilias Papadopoulos on Pontos lyre (a traditional Greek instrument that originated on the shores of the Black Sea) turn the traditional Greek music of Pontos into previously untrodden paths, dynamiting the traditional scales and structures and turning them into timeless soundscapes.
